It is recommended to uninstall compat whenever the tools you use start supporting V5, as 4.x is quite buggy and technically applies an amount of additional load to OBS internals. For <28.0.0, use the compat binaries here. Install this version only if you require legacy 4.9.1 protocol support and are using OBS 28.0.0 or above.
